Glory Hole In Riverside California

Review: I loved Jacob

Synopsis:
Louise is tired of her twin sister. Caroline is pretty, talented Caroline, Caroline it makes everything better. Louise think your sister off friends, the love of their parents and even the most intimate dreams. Perhaps the only hope Louise is herself a place in the shadow of her sister. Or should find their own way?

Review:
Look, there is, do you see? Yes, beneath that long shadow and bright ... the shadow of its twin. This is the story of Louise , and we, the foreigners on the shores of the Sea of \u200b\u200bpages of this book, follow it. Although she does not know. Because she is alone.

Louise lives in Rass Island with his family believer at the time of the Second World War. Young , empathic , intelligent and, above all, romanticona ... is a girl who cares anyone aside. Fight for obtaining the approval of his father, the love his mother, the tolerance his grandmother ... and love the entire island. But no note. All eyes are on Caroline, her younger sister.

I'm the oldest by a few minutes. I constantly think fondly treasure those moments. Represent the only time in my life when I was the center of attention worldwide. At birth, Caroline broke out for themselves.
Overshadowed as it is by Caroline, Louise has almost no friends. She is alone with Call , a chubby kid , spoiled by his grandmother, and quite sosainas with whom you go fishing.

I was with him not only because we could work together, but because our teamwork was so automatic that I could do while my romantic fantasies. I was wasting this part of my nature to Call not matter. I had more friends than me, so it was not easy to repeat what I said for someone to take it lightly.
En cambio, esta otra gemela mencionada no tiene en cuenta el esfuerzo de su hermana more, it does call Wheeze (which hates Louise) is a complex narcissistic very sharp and assumes that everyone has to please.
( Caroline ): "As I have nothing else to do this summer, except practice, I decided to write a book about my life. Once you are known, explained with great care, as if we were sappy, once you become famous, and information is very valuable. If not I document everything now, you may forget me .
He said in a voice that gave me nausea, the same as used while returning home after spending Saturday in the continent taking music classes in which he said for the billionth time that he was endowed.
And it is. Besides having a charming cloying and makes you want vomiting, and love all you want, Caroline is equipped with an exceptional gift for music: Your voice and the piano are one. But it's not what you say humble the girl, no, have to rub everyone the is fantastic.
Caroline is the kind of person for whom the others make sacrifices as most natural thing in the world. She was proud of my sister, but this year something started to ooze below that pride. At thirteen years life begins to get turned upside down.
This is the life of Louise who fight for a place outside the shadow of her younger sister and achieve their goals, despite being surrounded by a world that is constantly putting on them and never leave a mate to steal his things, their parents , his new friends the love ... their dreams .
(Louise) - Where did you get that?
(Caroline)-In your drawer, I did not think you mind.
(Louise)-Yes it bothers me, you have no right to poke his nose in my drawers and steal my stuff.
(Caroline)-Oh, Wheeze not be so selfish.
(Louise)-Vale-chill- take it!, take it! Take everything I have!
Title:
For those of you who are wondering where is that name (I loved Jacob), I will tell you comes from a scene from the book in which the grandmother quoted a phrase from the Bible:
Jacob A I loved, but Esau hated Jacob
would Caroline. Esau would Louise. For those who do not know, Jacob and Esau were twins , and in the Bible who says that phrase is God himself. Needless to say, that in the Bible Esau just, what is said, very bad. What trigger consequences in the form of seeing life Louise.

Home:
And although I like more the other cover-the former, I can support this. But not precisely reflect the inside of the book. Right? Why green? Louise's life surrounds itself with the raging sea, war and pain and envy ... Where have taken that green? And most importantly, former transmitting the pain of Louise, the charming Caroline irresistible ... its contrast end. In the new change, the two girls are almost identical, blonde and with the same bathing suit, playing together, anyone who saw the cover would capture the wrong message ... Rectify : I can not stand the new cover. But what can you do, look for the old edition of the used bookstores I frequent.

Personal Anecdote:

This book I read it, which seems to me now, long time. Things have changed radically since then, from that year which was very important in my life, buried among the other memories and fuzzy. five years ago when I was with one foot in childhood and the other at maturity, in another school, a language unknown , another country entirely strange ... you can say that this book is part of set my foundation year at the person I am today so I know that never fall into oblivion ... at least for me. I found it in a library where there were only two shelves of books in English ... and the cover caught my attention. A lot. A girl with an angelic-looking girl dirty? Good contrast. Caroline was so radiant, so beautiful ... but it was Louise that caught my attention. seemed determined , given and brightness ... that something in your eyes ... I had to know why ... and I drowned among its pages.

Years later, in Spain, I was reminded of it every now and then. Different scenes. Of the feelings that were trapped between his sentences. My camaraderie with Louise . And when looking at new books in any library I find myself face to face with my old friend, with a different face, but still it ... would be mine.
-------------------------------------------
or or

I hope you like the book, sorry for exceeding much, but I have tried to count all , while not having anything ... because I hope to heart that you enjoy this book as much as me. Because I scored in the depths. This book hooked me to the soul for five years and five years after still cry with the same pages.

Many kisses,
Nina.

PD: Maybe I've been very objective, because when viewed from another perspective, they may be both twins, and not just Louise, who felt jealous of one another. But I have much affection for Louise that comment in full review has seemed an insult to his person (or character).

PD2: It was written by Katherine Paterson in 1980 and has now been reissued in an attractive facade little, but very striking . It is hardcover and is finite so you can read in an afternoon, well which is very cheapie (about 7-8 euros cost me to me.) So no excuses for not reading it. PD3

: To my fellow pirates there a copy online, at least I have not found the book in pdf (not very modern).

Does Cervical Mucus Increase Right Before Period

Review: Women of the Time Traveler

Sliver, random , divided and joined the tun tun. That is the way to describe this book, this wonderful story and its protagonist with a gift (if you can call it that) that complicates a bit life. This story of 400-odd pages we are told by Henry (the traveler) and Clare (his wife in question), they tell us their feelings , experiences, problems and fears surrounding words and narratives, and sometimes simply that this, his in that moment. What because he remarked both? Well, the fact is that Henry our protagonist has a "small" problem that complicates things: Travel back in time. Not that b r e or n i b and and suddenly become a child again. No, no, hopefully. Travel back in time and disappears of its present ... to appear in another different time ( past or future ) naked (can not be or clothing, which, incidentally, causes many problems) ... and I live together with a current (of the time). Osease , there are 2 Henrys at the same instant. How crazy right? Then he has to live with it. And getting a little ahead of the plot, not so much to be considered spoiler but enough to throw the hook and piquéis is the situation with his wife , lover, friend, girlfriend ... ( not know, depends on when you speak ... your mind ... varies ... a lot). But let a middle ground, pluff ! , we planted, we freeze time. Okay, from the point of view that present Clare has had a childhood, overloaded of Henry . Henrys the future seemed to him, played with her, helping her with homework, practiced French ... were his best friend (and I was by the fact that there always were of the same date). But in the present in which "begins" our history, our young Henry not know Clare ... You see the dilemma? This is just a sliver the beginning, because when immersed in pages appear new problems , conflicts and dilemmas , but never abandons us that Henry gone and the loneliness (oh, always alone, that old familiar friend) wrap Clare . Be waiting, afraid to disappear at the worst times, be afraid that something might happen on your trip ... fear, fear , fear. And happiness when he finally returns.

My Point of View :
is like a mountain Russian, or a puzzle rather, the chapters are arranged according to disorderly ... u look at it. At the beginning of each chapter tell us the date (but we lose) and Henry age (if more than one tell us both) and the Clare . It is also possible to say something at first and then clicks later or vice versa, thus, reading is never dull and is very spun together. And the characters are wonderful, I love, especially Henry , Gomez and Charisse ( best friends of the couple, and couples time), are so ... Human? The one I enjoyed was Gómez. Ah ... (* Sigh * ) is a character so well done ... so very well trained ... (Apart from my early adolescence I have a "small " obsession with the distant and exotic ... and Russia has grown increasingly ... literally exploded appear Dimitri Belikov ... but we leave for later and other books) our anarchist, revolutionary and friend smoking dazzles me.

Cosillas Aside:
A film of the book. I have not seen but want to see it. The truth is that Clare imagined very different from the movie, the adults say ... but that usually happens in the movies. Here I leave the trailer . No cheats ye me and I you see the movie before the book, we know ... I put it in English because it is the original ...
But if you want to see in English please click here . Many kisses, Nina . PD: My notes and my average has risen as if by magic and I began to jump of joy ... bella vita .

Invitation For Congratulation

Live fast and die young.

I tell you a secret . I like the music of the 80. When Michael Jackson was at the height of his career, Madonna marked tendency , and this song was heard on all radios .

Let us die young or let us live forever We Do Have the power But we never say never.
Let us die young or live forever. not have the power but we never say never

I like the old songs, forgotten and sheltered by the dust at some point I know I'll blow, pressing play to resuscitate . Overall I like this, which is old and speaks of youth. What irony ...

In the future again open the trunk of last , taking things and putting them here to share with you. The following review is on its way, and until then, I leave you with this song: "Youth is like diamonds in the sun ... And diamonds Are forever "

Budweisser Beer With Memory Stick

My New E-book and I

My new friend and I are having a great time. I can not believe that this reading me a book of 400-odd pages and not feel the weight of book. Sometimes that is why I feel I am literally inside the book ... what gets me into trouble completely lose track of time and space. It's wonderful. (I'm bipolar , I know). But my little white friend, and everything has its pros and cons ... and the desvelaré you behind your back. Pro: 1. My pocket and thanked me and he is paying homage. Flageladme if you wish, fixing me with your looks of hate, or apuntadme with finger whispering among yourselves. Because, yes, I am of those people who are persecuted books downloaded from the Internet. Why did I do? Easy, I have no money to buy all the books you want, and I often bought books at the end I did not like and are gathering dust on my shelves. It's that simple. Cons: 1. Not the original book. Anyway its advantages, since nothing beats the real thing. And I know that even a fully fledged pirate, a follower of blogs gangsters that traffic in books ... because reading should be a right not a privilege . But if a book I really like, if I really captures and captivates me ... well, that will come home if I have to remove the coins from the well wishes. 2. Do not know about you, but I feel like the book. With my e-book I feel a little emasculated in that regard. Turning the page, fold tip top to return later to underline phrases and feel the weight confirming its existence, saying it is not just another figment of my imagination. My e-book not meet all my needs ... go task. Pros: 2. I can read whatever they want, wherever, whenever and however. On the bus, on the couch, on the street, on the lawn (maybe in summer) ... sitting, standing, lying, lying ... and I can choose between the 77 books I have inside now ... where there is more space. 3. Freedom of movement. Here's an example. I told you that I'm reading a book of 400 pages ... and whether it was carrying all of that paper, my pack would weigh more than a sack of stones. And my gadget lets me take the book anywhere with more freedom, no matter what their weight. 4. I have music inside. I sing in my ear as I read. 5. I can get movies, and if I want, I can put an additional memory to put more books, more music, or movies . It helps me in my studies, I have items and I put economy in a few documentaries . Me being very, very practical. Cons: 3. I know people who give you a headache if you look at a screen for a long time ... I do not know, may not blink and it affects your brain pink and wrinkled, but the fact is that if you're one of those ... I notice that the e-book is a screen. After this informative post, I notice that I'm back with bitten nails, a cold and nerves to the surface after two tests done ... of which the note is still unknown. Cross your fingers and throw salt on our shoulders to ward off bad luck. I'll review as soon as the book I'm enjoying ( "Women of the Time Traveler" ) Kisses, Nina .

Winlogon Exception C0000005

Review: The War of Mirrors

I say about this book ... I will not forget it was the first I've read my e-book . And, oh, what a great book for the first time in my new gadget. And as you know by my second entry, I'm a big fan of Lewis Carroll tale, and has long had this book in the spotlight ... and I was not disappointed one bit. You can not imagine how it deforms (or rather, trans form) the book the story we know. Or, rather, how Mr Carroll distorted the history of this book, the real Alice. Alyss. Nothing tea parties and smiling kitten who we like as well (at least to me), forget the story and imagine quiet a Red Queen thousand times more frightening and ruthless . Because this is the real story. The Alyss and Wonderland home. Filled with murder, betrayal, hatred and revenge. But also of love, friendship, and lots and lots of imagination. For the Imagination in Wonderland is highly valued, as there is a power. If you have enough imagination, you can create whatever you imagine ... But let the argument. Our real name is Alicia Alyss, and is the Princess of Hearts, daughter of Queen Genevieve of Hearts, which in turn, is sister of Red, Black Imagination practitioner (a malignant Imagination dark, forbidden in the kingdom). Red was banished from the kingdom of Wonderland after a civil war between his sister and her on the throne, and never forgot the humiliation he suffered. And so again with a vengeance. On the 8 th birthday of the princess, the little you have to watch the murder of his parents and flee to our world, leaving everything behind ... kicking off an action-packed story, struggle, repressed memories, but still the author manages to have a touch of love and friendship ... between our adorable Alyss and her best friend (which is not noble and that seems to be a complication). I say no more but I'm going to finish counting all the book! Me-ha-in-can-do-ta. Are all persnajes the story, only (very ) different and, frankly, I never thought that history "original" could be turned upside down and still ... genuine wonder .

Cosillas Aside:
There is a second part, Seeing Redd, and third, ArchEnemy , yet I've read them but add to the list. : D I'll notice now that disappear for a few days because, unfortunately mine, I have to study . Why are vacations so short?

Kisses, Nina (:

What Hair Do Myammee Wear

Review: Willow

Here is the review happen after all yesterday afternoon glued to this book, until I realized I had finished. First of all, sorry for choosing two books as "sad" for my first review ... has not been planned. Here no whiners allowed , brats and sloppy unless they want to go get hurt. And now that the cards are on the table, est ici Willow's review by Julia Hoban. Willow is a 17 and cut. His life was marked for 8 months, they returned from dinner at a restaurant she and her parents. She was driving. Only she survived. She killed them. Willow now lives with his brother David, his wife Cathy and newborn child. His brother speaks virtually no, she ignores her old friends and listen to his new high school girls whispering behind his back.
That is the one that has no parents. No. It is the one that killed their parents. The whispers of the girls remember the rustle of dry leaves. Willow always hated that sound. Have to struggle not to cover his ears with his hands. Do not want to call more attention to him. But neither can do anything to stop the torrent of noise coming from their mouths.
Willow is so overwhelmed by the fault, the pain and loss of their parents, school, work (must work with the house as a family plus they are causing economic problems) and loss of love from his brother the only exit he finds is with the quotes they have on blade. His life has become a struggle for survival ... until he meets Guy. Aha, I have caught. I bet you thought "Oh yes, and is part of the story is where everything is solved, your love is too strong and fixes any defect in his life " . Well, no. Not everything is so easy.
- Will not you stop? - I do not know," Weep with genuine anguish of being shocked again bathed in a sea tears. I thought I could, but it is not so easy. It is so easy!
Willow refuses to go near her. She's just trained to feel pain. physical pain. caused by their blades. But when Guy discovers his secret has no other option.'ll have to stay with him not to tell the truth to brother and the blades removed. It is the first contact that Willow has for months. Guy can speak freely and surprises herself by telling all . From your favorite books and little jokes to what led him and follows him into the blade leading. And while Willow wants to deny and want to get away, just falling in love with him. And the truth is that the guy is a real charm (not to rude synonym for fine ears, because there are thousands that come to mind).
But in recent days and I do not care so much about this, "says Guy. I guess what scares me now is not being able to protect you.
Besides little things:
Maybe the book is somewhat depressing, but not without love, trust and, of course, the sexual tension between the two main characters. I must say that this book is like life itself. Look, I'll explain with a metaphor is the easiest way to find, at least in my head sounded good ( and I did sleep shh! ). Have you ever put a coin in one of those glasses that are in high places? "Of those that after a while it turns black and does not let you continue watching goals unless another currency? For just me I felt with the book. It is as if only I could stretch my arm and touch, as if nailed my nails bleed. Rapid breathing listened when cut and the cries of David by my side. But like these binoculars, there are parts in black. Scenes that I would not cut it. I guess just be my thing, but after a day together, for example, I would like to see when saying goodbye. How does it feel to leave. And then turns black and I have to throw a coin to continue ... And the final ... Well, the end is the time and I have no more coins. But it's not a fairy tale. Closed-end lovers live happily Partridge ... Vade retro . Also .... have ... The characters. Puff, the characters are not characters. They are people of flesh and blood, almost. Concerns, problems and fears of a normal person, in short, are well done psychologically. All of them. Not only the main ones. So I was delighted. How many times have we read books as only the main character has some depth and some have a pea brain? And the dialogues, buff, it's like talking to a friend, you fly by and are so simple ... but yet so accomplished. Last comment. Like "If I Stay" is full of music, here we meet the characters live among books and there are references to other titles. for example, Shakespeare's The Tempest, which, as you see, is in the books I'm willing to try.

Many kisses, and comment if you whether you have read, you want to read it ... or not ( though that will make me very sad What really will not want me mourn ?) :)
The bursting of the blade ends up with the noise. Erases the memory of their prying eyes. Willow looks at the arm and observe the life that emerges from it. (...) One thing that hurts so much not that just make you feel good. It's more the feeling that's fine, that's right. And something that's good can not be bad. Has to be good.
